Congratulations man, I always love to hear that. Your right there is good days and bad days. If a couple is compatible they can make it through, it they are not compatible then its pure hell on those bad days. Especially if one is a giver and the other is a taker or if both are takers. If both is always considerate of the partner then they can weather all types of storms because they are a team. I love when two compatible people find each other because they are happy people.

do “bad” guys ever change? If he dealt (not sure if that is a word) … dealed drugs in the past but has since stopped (for a number of years) should i give him a chance… I’ve known this guy since junior high we both went to a private christian school… but after he graduated he made some wrong choices and got locked up… I love him, but i am not stupid enough to invest my life into a person who has no character- but i’m caught between giving him a chance or moving on. What’s your opinion?

First, yes he can change. I wasn’t the hardest or claimed to be a gangsta or thug but I did do my thing too back in the day. I have changed completely. People are supposed learn from the past, mature and grow. Sometimes it takes a while but your right, if the change has not happened yet you really shouldn’t waste your time.
Converse with him, see where his mind is at you will be able to tell, not from his words at face value, you have to get deeper than the image he presents to you.

This is real talk baby girl, I can tell you I have seen many young ladies destroy their lives simply by the guys they choose but I don’t have to tell you that.
I guarantee you that you can look in your very own circle of acquaintances and see the same thing for yourself because the number of ladies who do it is just that high.

Yep both parties are to blame but whoever seeks this arrangement even after having considered the consequences shouldn’t complain about the repercussions.
Basically that person gets what he or she deserves.
I am trying to help those who slowly go down this route because they didn’t really think through the choices they made before hand so that they choose to make better choices when they reach these crossroads if they so desire or suffer the consequences like so many before them.
