Safe to say, I would believe, is that every man has had the temptation to try and win back an ex-girlfriend in the past. Maybe the sex was too much to think about going without. 1. If you did not lose her, would you still want to be with her?
Most guys will fall for what they cannot have. Time and time again men will whine and complain about their girlfriend, only to become almost obsessed with her after a breakup. Now, I am not saying that you should not try and win her back, just ask yourself, if you did not lose her, would you still want her back?
2. Does the thought of other men having her trigger fear in YOU?
This is another common thing to trigger a man to want to get back with an ex-girlfriend. The thought of her moving on being intimate with another man or men. The thing is, you have to ask again, is it because of this that you want to try and win her back? If so, then you may want to deal with the fear first. Men can tend to become naturally possessive over a woman, and this can make you feel as though you HAVE to be back with her.
3. If it took a long time and lots of effort, would it be worth it in the end?
Most men will want an easy solution. You want to win her back today if possible. Depending on the situation, this can be entirely unrealistic. A lot of arguments, accusations, and past experiences can make it harder for you to win her back. You may have to keep on making attempts to win her back. If this were true would you still want to win her back?
