It’s hard getting back with your ex when you were dumped. Imagine yourself how it is if you were the one that dumped. That’s even worse, and it’s the situation Anna had, and she really wanted to get her ex back.
Anna’s so called friend Rhonda told her that her boyfriend Nick had slept with another woman, so Anna dumped Nick without verifying the information.
After a few days, Anna found out that her friend Rhonda lied because she was jealous. So now Anna wanted to get her boyfriend back, but at the same time save her face.
So Anna called Nick and explained what happened, but she had no success in getting her ex back. He was hurt because she didn’t trust him and because she didn’t want to talk things over with him.

When she ran into Nick, she was as nice as she could be, and she worked the positive memories into the conversation casually, and she did no more apologizing. She already told him that she was sorry and let it go like that.
When Nick’s favorite band was in town, Anna got tickets to the concert, and she asked him to go with her just as friends. Doing so, she opened the door to a future relationship without crowding him.
Getting back with your ex after you dumped him is quite difficult. You don’t only need to get through your embarrassment of apologizing, but you also have to start from scratch again on the relationship. The key component is rebuilding the trust.
Eventually, Nick and Anna got back together, because Nick saw that Anna’s outburst was an act of jealousy from a woman that deeply loved him. Nick saw this as a mistake that
they could both grow from. Their relationship became even stronger after that.
