I am GLAD those blacks voted for prop 8. They WANT TO PROTECT MARRIAGE!!!!! WTF is wrong with that????

I would have gladly voted for prop 8 if I lived in California.

You are a self righteous FOOL for calling people a jackass for wanting to save marriage!!!!!!!

  2. dexterxyz Says:

Saving marriage? Surely you jest. Look at the heterosexual divorce rate! How are gay people a threat to marriage? The fact that your prejudice tells you so, isn’t an arugment.

  3. dexterxyz Says:

    argument.

  4. ble86n Says:

    Hilarious! well done

  5. Darkbison7 Says:

So basically if gays can get married, then heterosexual marriage will become illegal, or heterosexuals will no longer get married.

Yea, makes a lot of sense.

  6. piratekrick Says:

Thank you! Someone else finally said this! I was starting to think I was the only one!

  7. jackthayer Says:

This video is just as dumb as the commercial it parody’s, and more mean-spirited. Example: You know you’re a loony liberal when you think a man who engages in plumbing work is lying about being a “plumber”, because in your mind the English word “plumber” actually means “a person with a piece of paper from the government saying he’s a plumber.”

  9. AdLibFRT Says:

Saying something is “Dumb” is “smarter” criticism than parody? Mmm-hmm.

So if you ever need surgery, you’ll be more than happy to have someone operate on you who doesn’t have “a piece of paper from the government”?

    Good luck with that.

  10. mbowlin5 Says:

Unfortunately, medical licensure is indeed used for the secondary purpose of artificially limiting the number of doctors, so as to increase how much money doctors make, at great cost to the rest of us. (Although it also has the valid purpose of keeping quacks out). With plumbing, the “secondary purpose” is the only purpose. No one is obligated to pay a plumber who fails to fix his pipes. State plumbing licensure is an anti-consumer scam. Either way, the word “plumber” means what it means.

  11. AdLibFRT Says:

Why do you folks work so hard to ignore simple logic and grasp so desperately for wack conspiracies to explain the world around you?

Us reasonable folk would prefer heart surgery performed on us by someone who is properly trained, educated and has proven this by passing rigorous testing and licensing. You see, we don’t want to die. We want competent, intelligent people as our doctors and presidents.

You Repubs instead like Bush, Joe the Plumber, Sarah Palin and conspiracies in every direction.

  12. mbowlin5 Says:

    Adlib,

    I am not a Republican.

I did not vote for any of the people you named.

I have not referenced any conspiracy theory.

I agree with your statement about who should perform surgery, and nothing I said suggests otherwise in the slightest.

The statements I’ve made are simply correct, and nothing you’ve said contradicts them, or even seques appropriately off them.

Jesus Christ, Adlib, please take a Valium and a nap!

    You said:

“medical licensure is indeed used for the secondary purpose of artificially limiting the number of doctors, so as to increase how much money doctors make, at great cost to the rest of us.”

That’s a conspiracy theory. Who are these powerful overlords who created artificial limits on doctors in all 50 states?

Many Repubs have posted Repub POVs here but insist they’re not Repubs (guess it is embarrassing to admit).

I’ll take you at your word. Though would you be a Ron Paul supporter?

  14. fuzzyprism Says:

mbowlin5, lol, that is quite a stretch to take a joe the plumber (who’s not a plumber) reference in a parody, and try to equate it to an actual national group who lobbies to restrict people’s equality based on fraudulent “facts.”

  15. mbowlin5 Says:

    Hi Fuzzyprism,
I don’t approve of N.O.M, or their insipid commercial. I just think it’s easier to expose someone elses bigotry, hatred, and unfair thinking style by standing in contrast to it, not by topping it and being even worse. I picked the plumber thing as one example.

  16. mbowlin5 Says:

It’s not a secret or a Conspiracy Theory. It’s a fact of economics that limiting the number of people in a job increases the pay of those in that job. All unions & trade associations limit employment for this reason. It happens in my profession (accounting). Every year the state CPA boards determine in advance how many will pass the CPA exam. The test scores are weighted so that the predetermined number of people become new CPA’s. It isn’t a secret and the purpose of it isn’t a secret.

  17. fuzzyprism Says:

I understand your point but I don’t agree in this case. The NOM campaign and ad are based on falsehoods. That’s not an exaggeration — all the claims made in their ad are either grossly misleading or flat-out lies. It’s been a prevalent trait amongst the right wing to employ lies or conjecture to influence those minds that don’t know better or don’t think to research the claims. This parody is a response to that, both in style, and some of the claims made by NOM and the right wing.

I was actually just spewing venom about my Senators–I’m in Texas–and that I couldn’t believe Cornyn got in, again, based on his own commercial. I’ve never hated a person from their own advertisement so much.

And found this, based on keywords. ROTFLMAO!!!! This is EXACTLY what I was talking about!!!

There is much interesting Mormon information in the internet. If you Google Mormon and fraud find much to read. It is said Mormon rituals follow similar Masonic symobology. Josepth Smith was apparently a freemason with arrest records in New York, before leading his flock west. In the 1800s when Mormons tried to suppress newspapers and thought, people took action against them. According to Wikipedia, Joseph Smith who started the Mormon cult was actually assasinated by a mob in Illinois.
